Headlamp (and glasses) on the ridgeline, nook for reading, pillow, and earplugs. If it's cold, chemical warmers, gloves, balaclava. I'm going to start using a hot water bottle this winter. Phone goes in a storage pocket.

[Edit]: I also put my breakfast Clif bar(s) in a built-in chest pocket in my sleeping bag. If they get cold they're like concrete.

Pillow and sleeping bag in my hammock. On the ridge line my headlamp, Mora Companion, RL organizer (phone, watch, kindle/book, meds) and if it's cold out a Nalgene "urinal" (don't even start, we've already discussed it at length).

I don't have anything actually in the hammock except for my TQ. I always have a red single LED pinch light attached to a necklace for light, herbal remedies in attached stuff sack, water bottle in shoe on ground under me, multitool in other shoe, and my water filter and fuel at the bottom of my TQ on colder nights.

Headlamp and knife ( Fällkniven WM1 or Mora bushcraft or Fällkniven F1 ) on the RL.

Phone, chapstick, waterbottle, fleecehat, fingerless gloves, buff in RL organizer.

Sometimes a book joins me in the hammock as well.

Ok, you're calling it a night; so what all

Pee bottle, phone, clip on ridge line light, headlamp, clothes for manana if it's cold out and one of the most important things is my little dry sack with my toilet paper and hand soap. It's nice to know where that is in a hurry sometimes

Eye mask, worn of course (I like to sleep in total darkness), something to read before I go to sleep, on table, headlamp on ridgeline, Phone on table if I am camping not when I am backpacking, sometimes gloves so I can have my arms out without getting cold hands, this depends on temps, also in ridgeline pocket, Jacket on table and of course a small table under my tarp when camping to keep stuff handy.

I normally have either a stool or Joey chair with me. After foot maintenance before hitting the hammock the knife, phone, personal bag w/ TP and meds, clothing etc gets left on the stool/chair for easy access. Headlight on RL in small head end bag. Only other things in the hammock are TQ and pillow.
