    Question question for the admins

I have been a member here for a while, and I am curious about a thing I've never seen on here. I need help with a severely disabled veterans charity hike. Would it be ok for me to post here asking for help? I will be the only hammocker out of 75 hikers and will have a lot to teach I think.

This is a direct quote from the TOS "IX. Charities. Hammock Forums recognizes the important role played by charities in society, but we also try very hard to maintain the singular focus on hammocks. Therefore, requests for charitable donations are not appropriate for this forum."

With that being said while you can not ask for donations if you need additional hangers to come hang with you and assist and teach...I don't think any of the MODS would object. You will just be planning a hang with teaching opportunities

You would however need to post in the Hangouts, Campouts, and Trip Planning in the section specific to the region the hang would be held in.

    Very nice redirect, Deb.

Ricky, I hope you get many hangers to help you on your "group hang". Good stuff and thanks for helping others with their "hike and hang". Hammocks can be a good way to enjoy camping for different disabilities.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you
