Thanks for the help! It was pretty stupid of me to put the link in the OP in that way...but I had to get it to the mods somehow.

I just was redirected to the same site when I clicked the link to come to the above reply to this thread. When I clicked the second time normal result. FWIW...just finished a malware scan and no problems found. And the malware software alerted me when I was redirected to the myfilestore site.

Just to add an FYI. Out of curiousity I did a google search using site:hammockforums.net as one of the search terms. The 2nd link on down looked fine, but this was the visible part of the url of the first link:
https :// www.hammockforums.net / forum / gab_redirect.php?id=11&script=index
That redirect looks a bit suspicious. The 2nd link on down looked fine and didn't have any redirect language, though I didn't click on any of them.
To add to this discussion, the homepage and search page of hammockforums was blocked yesterday by websense as being malware infected. i used their CSI service today and the homepage appeared cleared.

I am not having this problem. I am trying to duplicate this to troubleshot it but I can't see any issues. Is it possible that you have been hacked.
Which forum is doing this, is it the "For Sale" forum?
I would appreciate any help so that I can find this problem that you are having.

I have been trying for days to duplicate it without success. So far I have tried it with Windows 10, Explorer, Edge, Chrome, and Fox Fire. Same using Windows XP, and 7. I guess worth noting is that I used the Norton 360 suite for protection on all my machines.
I even gave it a shot on my Linux (Ubuntu) box but still could not duplicate it.

I have had it happen in For Sale update emails as well as email notifications for this thread. I have not experienced it anywhere else and I subscribe to updates from several other forums. I scanned with Malwarebytes and found to threats. The page I am redirected to is flagged by Malwarebytes when I arrive.
There are others in this thread who have reported redirection both from their emails and search results. I have, as of yet, not had this happen to any link but Hammock Forums. Also only happens with the first link I choose in a given HF update. Subsiquent links in the same email have not resulted in redirect. Also not always happens. FWIW i tried links in several emails today including the one for this thread with no redirect. Wish I could be of more help.
My current solution is not to use the links but just come here and find the threads directly. Not a big deal for me.

Thank you for getting back to me.
I think I see what your saying now.
Correct me if I am wrong.
Your experiencing this from the search results off the web and not on the HF web site.
When you do a search and google brings up a search results and you click on the link in the results, it brings you to the issue in question.
Is that correct?
