LT Wright GNS Scandi SRI version

This is a very hard-to-come-by Pout House edition of this gorgeous piece of steel.

In O1 steel, Scandi grind, green micarta handle with the JRE Leather Dangler sheath.

Used to make one featherstick and the only "issue" is a few nicks on the spine but I'm not good enough with a camera to show them. It's not from striking a ferro rod (more minor than that).

Easily a $200 knife - I'm selling for $160 shipped ConUS, Paypal only.

    Thank you for looking!

    Beautiful knife and sheath.

From their website the standard GNS Scandi is Overall Length: 9.5", Sharpened Edge: 4.25". Is that correct?

I know it's not a lightweight backpacking tool, but what is the weight of the knife and sheath? It looks heavy duty, but not overboard.

I'm a knife newbie, and still only recognize the mass market/production brands. Is this the only LTWK you have owned?

Thank you for asking. I will weigh & measure it after work, but I'm almost certain the measurements are the same as you quoted.

You're right, it is a sweet knife! And I do own another knife by LT Wright, the Genesis. Researching which to buy I watched videos on Youtube (there are several good ones) and for me the major difference is the handle shape. They are the same material (micarta).

I have a hard time finding the right feel in a handle and both the GNS & the Genesis are at the top for me - just different. LT's value is near the top for me.

Curious, what separates the Pout House edition from a standard GNS? Different stamp on the blade/sheath?

    Good question!

It does have an additional stamp on the "opposite" side of the knife from the main logo. Pout House knives are sometimes one-offs and limited runs of knives - I am not sure since I picked this up from the original buyer and I have never held another GNS.

Either way though, the price is great.

Apologies: I was misinformed - this is the SRI version, not the POUT HOUSE version. Same knife, different stamp on the side.

My goof, but the knife is otherwise the same! Great knife at a better price!
