I am happy for you as I know it will take a bit longer to get to you. My order must be getting close.

both Titanium Gray, +1 ounce
He is doubtful for this. Though he would like to show off the chair he got for Christmas last year. He seemed to like Chard's chair so much I got him a similar one.
This looks like good timing for me to test out my winter gear. I have a winter camp with the Scouts the following weekend in Oshawa.
Not to mention I had a blast the last time I came.
My 11 year old son is 4-10 and it is a full length to him. You'll have to wait a bit but he should be 5-0 soon enough ;)
Wish I could go but I am already camping with hottwo and his cub pack that weekend in Oshawa. I was planning on bringing my hammock gear to sleep outside with the scouts. Otherwise I would head out...
Looks pretty cool. I am itching to pull the trigger on some stuff for black Friday.
I called Algonquin Outffitters and was told I don't need to reserve a canoe they have plenty just show up after 9am. I am doubtful to make 10am at rock lake so you can leave without me and Hottwo. ...
I was planning to do some baking. Only done muffins so far. I can try some bannock in it, normal I just Fry the bannock. I vote for goulash.
Sorry, I thought I posted but must have forgot to actually submit it.

By this scale I am a veteran but I would consider myself an intermediate paddler not an expert.
I have...
Thanks for the offer I might take you up on that if it is not too much trouble.
Thanks guys just what I was looking for. Some great input.
I grabbed a box of little hotties from Costco last year. I think it was $14 for 40 pairs. They still had them there last time I was...
Starting to get close now, little over 3 weeks to go. I have dehydrated some meals for the trip already. Been practicing my dry baking skills. Thankfully I have two kids to test any muffins I make...
Not sure if you are looking at only those or are open to other suggestions.
If you want a top quilt and on your budget have you considered the UGQ with duck down? It is 700 so lighter then the...
Congrats guys and thanks for your efforts.
I think the sale was in December and extended to Jan last year. It was also for a cub not a scout model.
I am officially in with my son. I am good with Chard picking the location as he seems to know Algonquin fairly well.
I would say I am an intermediate paddler. Been canoeing on and off for 30...
Thanks Dutch. I want to put these on my kids hammocks. Easier then the whoopie slings for them.
I notice there are 15" loops for HH. Would this be just for the older style ends? I am thinking the newer ones I should be good with the 8"
Not sure I would be as worried about the rings compressing the stock rope for kids like mine that are under 70lbs. I switched out the stock suspension on my kids hammocks to whoopies thinking it...
I have a cub and scout model for my two kids. My 7 year old daughter loves her cub.
There does not seem to be a big difference in size between the cub and the scout. One thing I noticed is that...
Me too. I have been watching for a sale and the one weekend I was away I missed it. Really want a 40º burrow to go with my 20º incubator.
This sounds like fun, I will try and see if I can arrange to take the Friday off and go. Would be me and my 10 year old son.
I'm in!
Thanks.
Thanks for this thread it was exactly what I was looking for. I seam sealed my brand new superfly using permatex just on the top middle where 2QZQ attached the tie out for my center pole mod. It...
Welcome from Toronto
I have that set up on one of my hh. Much easier and quicker to setup. Little bit lighter as well. Been very happy work my Dutch bling so far. I must warn you it may become an addiction.
I decided that it made more sense to me to get this done on a big daddy tarp then a tadpole. Most seem to recommend the Easton aluminum .344 poles from www.questoutfitters.com
I have ordered a couple times from great adventure. Been happy with the products, services and free shipping over $100. Good option for those of us in Canada.
Thanks, I think the pole pockets would be my preferred way to go. I just was not sure if it made sense to do it on a smaller tarp.
Brute thanks for your post. I had not really thought much about the camo tarp but this is making me consider it and the pole mod. Do you have any close up pictures of how you connect the guy lines...
Thanks, I did email them but they are gone to a show this weekend.
How much smaller does the Mamajamba pack down compared to the superfly? Someone mentioned that the SF packs to about 4" x 10"
I don't think that is for the tadpole. It has two poles and four clips. The tadpole only has two side tie outs if you add them.
I have been thinking about picking up a tadpole but I am curious about getting some sort of pole mod on it. The outside mod appears to be for tarps with two tie outs on each side and the pole...
I googled golite and it came up with a 15% off until May 27th. Which appears to apply to the TQ. When I add it to my cart as it appears as $212.49
I have this same knife and find it quite handy. The Flint works well and the holes so you can tie it to a stick and make a spear are cool. Replaced the small hatchet I used to carry for kindling.
Congrats on the new quilt. Post some pics if you can.
P.S. Can you pm me tomorrows winning lottery numbers?
Thanks for the link. What did you end up getting from them? I am not seeing anything that really makes my must have list. Not had time to really comb through the site looking for good deals.
These work great for my kids. Full length for them. Added some Dutch quilt hooks that work like those triangle thingies. Not having any troubles with gaps. You need to always orient the quilt the...
I will take the superfly if you will ship to Canada. Will pay extra for shipping assuming it is not too outrageous.
Congrats in the great new gear. Did you get the adjustable webbing or line strap suspension? I wish to live vicariously through your purchase.
I can't tell you how many times I have had the...
I have been waiting for the tarp door clips to place another order. Now I have everything I need in case I happen to order a superfly. :D
Thanks, I was sure if there was I put my quilt hooks on upside down. Cause thats how I roll!
I bought a couple of jarbidge UQs for my kids in all stealth brown. Is there a top and bottom to these underquilts? I don't really see any difference except perhaps the way the suspension is...
Thanks for sharing this great mod. Would love to do something like this.
My daughter would love one of these. Oops did not show the cut off until after I posted, sorry.
I weighed both the whoopie slings and stock cords when I replaced mine and the difference was 3oz total between the two ends. Also a little more compact-able with the whoopie slings.
Thanks for the info, congrats on the sweet new gear.
How big is the superfly in its stuff sack?
