I'd get the 20 so its not so bad at night but really a 40 and a reflectix pad will take you as low as you'll encounter somewhere like here in Ohio. 20 if you're gonna do negative temps frequently enough to justify the extra weight when its not that cold.
I have the 0 Incubator. I got 2oz overfill because it seems to help keep the down from settling to the low spots when hanging. I slept in 22 degrees and was really warm. The incubator is also wide enough that it covers me on both sides without having to adjust much if any.
Here are some photos of my Custom 10* Incubator (Incubator 20+2 built to 10* specs). This is the first time I set it up. As soon as I laid in the hammock I could feel the heat radiating from below. I'm going to love this. As far as Hammock Gear quality goes this underquilt is put together extremely well. The design appears to be top notch. The baffles are full. The hanging and adjusting system seem to work really well. Now I need some cold weather. I'm very happy with my purchase.

It cost the exact same as a 20*+2 which is $267. A stock 0* would have been $279.
Congrats on your purchase. From the pics it looks like you have a great place to hang!
Thanks! The pics are from my 40 acre mountain top. Most of it I've never been on because it is so steep and full of poison oak.
Just get the 0*.
I got my 0* for my first quilt knowing I wouldn't have good top insulation for a while. The zero has kept me warm in the high 20's with hardly any top insulation. It's been great for warm nights too if you just loosen it up.
I ended up getting a 30* down the road and wish I'd have just purchased another TQ instead for warmer weather. I can use the 0* in pretty much all weather conditions, top quilts on the other hand, you can't stray to far away from temp ratings with.
