First overnight hang in my new ENO setup

I had my first real hang in my new ENO setup last night. Arrived a bit early to the Oregon Country Fair and slept next to a beautiful creek. It was about 10 PM when I reached my camp site so I had to set up in the dark - it wasn't that bad!

    ENO double nest
    Guardian bug net
    Under belly
    Spark topquilt
    Ember 2 under quilt
ProFly with Hennessey snake skins (never unrolled)
    Atlas straps chroma

Whoopie slings and structural ridgeline from Dutchware

The light rope is an Luminoodle and worked awesome!

I did get a little chilly so I also used a military poncho liner and slept great.

I'll be sleeping in it for the next week so hopefully I have the same luck!

That looks like a great set-up on a really nice site. How do you keep the dew from settling on your hammock if you do not set up your tarp at all?

I was concerned about that as well Alpine, but took a chance anyway since it's not that common in this area during the summer. Woke up this AM and hammock and chair were both totally dry. I guess it's about knowing your environment!

I have all the exact ENO equipment, it's what I started out with and still enjoy using it but what are you calling an Under belly?

    This? ( I assume) https://www.eaglesnestoutfittersinc....NDERBELLY.html
Homer: Sir, I need to know where I can get some business hammocks.

Hank Scorpio: Hammocks? My goodness, what an idea. Why didn't I think of that? Hammocks!

    Looks great!

Have nearly the exact same setup, except a snugpak TQ and no lights!

Works great for me--glad to see it's working well for you! Have fun!

I've slept a lot of nights with no tarp and woke up dry. Kind of depends on the humidity and air temp too.

ENO doesn't get a lot of love around here, and I understand why, but they have got a lot of people hooked on hammocks so I don't ever fault ENO.

OK you got me! I have the gear sling too just forgot the underbelly part. I don't use mine under but off to the side and usually hang it inside of a garbage bag to protect in case of rain.

I started out with an ENO DN and it worked great for day lounging in. My brother still uses it often. Not a darn thing wrong with a ENO if it gets you off the ground!
