    Original Backcountry Boiler

I have an original run backcountry boiler for sale. I've only fired it up twice. Both times, I struggled to keep the fire hot enough. I can't figure out why.
I should have sold it right away, preferring my Bushbuddy , but it sat on a shelf instead.

    $50 shipped
Maybe someone else will have better luck with it.
it has my initials "RAW" etched on top in small letters.
comes with neoprene sack and original stopper.
    I'll try to add pictures

So, I've been reading in the interwebs, And it seems that most early problems were about leaks.
i can't see an leaks when the pot is just sitting filled with water.
but I had noticed some moisture inside the chimney after a fire.
i always attributed that to moisture in the wood.

but I thought I should update the thread to be totally up front about the boiler.

Is item still available? If so you may want to bump it at least once every week. Items that are inactive are subject to being removed from the Market Place area, it allows members to know you are still interested and it will keep the moderators from "pinging" you!

If you are going out of town or have limited/no forum access, please close your thread before you leave. It saves frustrations when members post questions but do not get responses.

    Thanks for your help
