    vendor list update.....

After seeing some of his work up close and reading the many positive reviews, I suggest George Carr have a spot for Loco LIbre in the vendor section. A great guy making quality stuff.

Assuredly. But that's not the criteria this forum uses for creating a vendor sub-forum. It's based on volume of posts, strictly for organizational purposes. But looking at some of the vendor sub-forums can lead some to question that criteria. Some of them are ghost towns.

Yea, don't try to make sense of the current list as there is no criteria that can explain this list.

I love my three LocoLibre quits and may be adding a fourth soon. George's quilts are a piece of art with the chevron baffling.

A sub forum on HF has nothing to do with how good, or bad, a product a vendor makes. It has to do with how many posts a vendor is generating in the "Other vendor" area. A sub forum is ONLY a method for organization of posts to assist the moderators.

Once a vendor gets a sub forum they are not removed just because their posts drop. Why? Because that would put all those posts back into the "other" area and make the life of the moderators pretty miserable.

In fact this is the announcement at the top of the Vendor area: These forums are not a seal of approval by Hammock Forums. The sub-forums are simply for organizational purposes

I will bump this post up for discussion with the moderators/Admins to see if Locolibre is generating enough posts yet but I do know that it was reviewed this past spring with the decision being no.
