So many trees, so little time...
So sorry that you went through that, but super happy that you are well on your way to recovery and without any brain damage and such.
My husband had a heart attack at age 50, and walked up the 58 steps to our cottage from the river bank where he had been building a dock. No cell service, no phone, no internet (its just a summer get-a-way place).......I gave him aspirin, and then dragged him to the vehicle and drove like hell to the nearest hospital. You could still smell the brakes the next day through out that entire parking lot. Fortunately we still have him around, unfortunately he did suffer severe annoxia brain damage. He has come a long way over the years, but there are many things that will never, ever be same.....and we miss that man we used to know.
Count your blessings, as you are certainly a blessed man, and again I reiterate how glad I am that you are fine and on the healing path. If you were closer, I'd just give you a big hug....didn't mean to get weird there, it's just who I am.
